Baby "R"

When I was pregnant with my twin babies, I photographed Shellene and Mark's wedding. So I was honored when they called me to photograph their brand new baby. I am so happy for them!!! Best wishes to them and their new, happy family!

Mary Margaret Bourne and Jeremiah Williams

I had so much fun photographing this engagement session - even in the freezing cold and rain. I previously photographed Mary Margaret's sister's wedding and I also previously photographed Jeremiah's brother's wedding. I have also photographed a lot of Murrells Inlet events where they have been guests and I can tell you that anywhere the Bourne ladies are is bound to be a good time! They are not only beautiful girls but they are also very talented. They own Socialite in Murrells Inlet so if you want some amazing clothes then go and check it out.
I was one of the first people to see this relationship coming. I was photographing an event and saw the two of them falling for each other and even took some photos to prove it. Who knew it would lead to this? I am so happy for them. I think they are the perfect couple and I wish them an eternity of happiness.

Happy 1st Birthday Kaylie and Taylor!

CELEBRATING MY DAUGHTERS' 1ST BIRTHDAY
The past year has been the best year of my life and I am loving every minute with my girls. I had this idea that I wanted to take photos of the girls eating their first birthday cake at my studio. I have to tell you that this shoot did not go exactly as planned. I intended to have party hats on the girls and balloons in the background, etc. but being the mom (of 2) as well as the photographer makes things a little.....okay A LOT... more difficult. By the time I got both girls fed, bathed, dressed, and to the studio ....they were ready for a nap (and maybe I was too). And trying to keep 2 babies that have just learned to walk on the background (when they would rather be on my lap) while taking their photos at the same time...not so easy. So all the ideas went out the window and here is what we got......not exactly what I had in mind but cute memories anyway. The last photo shows you how the shoot ended.....my daughter was READY to go and crawled right through the cake.....haha...what can u do?

My daughter, Taylor, and her first (toy) camera

This is one of my twins, Taylor, playing with her toy camera. She looks pretty good with a camera....way to make her momma proud!
My babies are celebrating their first birthday this Saturday the 23rd. Cake photos will be taken and posted soon. I am going to put a cake in front of them and let them go for it......stay tuned to see what happens.
The bridal show at the convention center went really well. Thanks to everyone who stopped by to see me. The next bridal show is January 31st at the Myrtle Beach Hilton. I hope to see you there.

Imaging USA in Nashville Tennessee

A couple snapshots from my hotel at Opryland in Nashville.

I just got back from Imaging USA's photography convention in Nashville, TN. I spent 4 days taking classes, visiting vendor booths to check out some great new products that I plan to offer, and hanging out with some photographer friends. Imaging USA hosts classes by some of the world's top photographers. The 1st day of class I sat in between Jerry Ghionis and David Jay. For a photographer that is the equivalent of sitting in between Brad Pitt and George Clooney. They are amazingly talented and are 2 people that I greatly admire. I learned a lot and saw some great new products that I will be launching soon. I had fun but I was thrilled to return home to see my husband, Neale, and our precious twins, Kaylie and Taylor. They will turn 1 on January 23rd. It is amazing how time flies. I will be at the bridal show this Sunday the 17th at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center. Please stop by my booth and say hello!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Merry Christmas from my family to yours! These are some Christmas photos of my twin baby girls, Taylor and Kaylie. They are 10 1/2 months old and they are growing so quickly! Kaylie just started to walk and Taylor won't be far behind. She wants to do everything her sister does. I am having a blast with them. They are such sweet babies. They keep my husband, Neale, and I very busy but we are treasuring every minute of it. We are very blessed. I hope all of you have a Happy Holiday Season!
