Baby Maia is the daughter of one of my best childhood friends, Shannon. I was lucky enough to meet her and to be able to photograph their family earlier this year at their house. These are some of the photos from the visit. It was snowing outside so we took some photos inside and I am so grateful that we did because shortly after this she was put back in the hospital. She fought a very tough battle with HLHS, a congenital heart syndrome. My thoughts, prayers, and heart go out to their family.

When I was pregnant with my twin babies, I photographed Shellene and Mark's wedding. So I was honored when they called me to photograph their brand new baby. I am so happy for them!!! Best wishes to them and their new, happy family!
